Abstract
The compressible soils are characterized by a low resistance to shear, a high compressibility and a very low lift which requires the reinforcement of these soils in order to improve their mechanical characteristics. The widening of high embankment on this type of soil generally poses problems of stability with respect to the models of possible fractures (sliding, punching) and problems of settlement (absolute or differential settlement). Stability and settlement problems are analyzed using several analytical and numerical methods using the PLAXIS and GEOSTUDIO software. In this context, this thesis deals with a problem of stability of a high embankment on a compressible ground in a zone of widening of the strips of the runway of the aerodrome May 08, 1945 with Ain Arnat (Setif)

تتميز التربة القابلة للإنضغاط بمقاومة قص منخفضة ، وقابلية انضغاط عالية ، وشدة احتمال منخفضة للغاية تتطلب تعزيز هذه التربة من أجل تحسين خصائصها الميكانيكية. يثير توسيع الردميات العالية في هذا النوع من التربة عمومًا مشكلات الاستقرار فيما يتعلق بنماذج الكسور
المحتملة )الانزلاق والتخريم( ومشاكل الرص )الرص المطلق أو التفاضلي(. و PLAXIS يتم تحليل مشاكل الاستقرار والتسوية باستخدام عدة طرق تحليلية وعددية باستخدام برنامجي .GEOSTUDIO في هذا السياق ، تتناول هذه الأطروحة مشكلة ثبات الردميات العالية على أرض قابلة للإنضغاط في منطقة اتساع شرائط مدرج المطار 08 ماي 1945 مع عين أرنات )سطيف(
