Etude des caractéristiques des eaux thermales du territoire Sétifien

Abstract

The territory of the wilaya of Setif has a significant underground water reserve which manifests itself in the form of resurgences of fresh water emerging between the Eocene carbonate formations and those of the carbonate platform of Cretaceous and probably Jurassic age. This water reserve feeds many thermal springs which are as follows; Hammam Dehamcha, Hammam Guergour, Hammam Ouled Yelles (Mezloug), Source Zdim2 (Guellal), Source Ouled Boutara (Guellal), Source Douar Lekbir (Guidjel), Hammam Sidi Mansour (Ouled Tebben), Hammam Hamma (Boutaleb), Hammam Soukhna. And whose temperature at emergence higher than 25 °C was the object of our work, which consists in carrying out studies of the characteristics of thermal waters from the hydrochemical point of view of the territory of Setif. The thermal waters of the Sétifian territory have therapeutic properties mainly for Dermatological and Rheumatic diseases.
