| dc.description.abstract | The interdental zone is a key region for maintaining the balance of inter- and intra-arch relationships. Preserving its integrity and restoring it according to the required specifications is a surgical imperative. The number of pathological conditions that can develop in the interdental septum calls into question the position and quality of proximal coronal fillings. These proximal restorations will indeed be replaced, either due to a new pathology or because of a technical or functional failure. This thesis lists the diagnostic tools, instruments, materials, and procedures that allow for the reconstruction and restoration of the interdental contact point to a physiologically healthy state. From circumferential metal matrices to translucent interdental wedges, from amalgam to composites, from extensive cavities to tunneled cavities, the range of solutions is broad. | dc.description.sponsorship | La zone interdentaire est une région clef de l’équilibre des relations inter et intra-arcades. La préservation de son intégrité et sa restauration conforme au cahier des charges requis est un impératif opératoire. Le nombre des atteintes pathologiques peuvent se développer au niveau du septum interdentaire mettent en cause la situation et la qualité des obturations coronaires proximales. Ces restaurations proximales seront en effet remplacées, soit à cause d’une nouvelle pathologie, soit en raison d’un échec technique ou fonctionnel. Cette thèse liste les outils de diagnostic, les instruments, les matériaux et autant de procédures qui permettent la reconstitution et le retour à un état physiologiquement sain du point de contact interdentaire. De la matrice circonférentielle métallique aux coins interdentaires translucides, de l’amalgame aux composites, de la cavité extensive à la cavité tunnellisée, la palette des solutions est large.
