Abstract

This study aimed to highlight the role of treasury management in enhancing corporate profitability at the Cement Company of Ain El Kebira (SCAEK) – Setif. The study relied on several research tools, primarily interviews conducted with various department managers, as well as the analysis of the obtained financial statements, in addition to examining data related to the assessment of the treasury position during the study period (2022–2025). The study reached a set of findings, the most significant of which is that effective treasury management requires the adoption of modern scientific methods in order to ensure efficiency in financial decision-making, enabling the company to achieve the highest possible additional financial return at the lowest possible cost. The results also revealed that the company under study succeeded in managing its treasury efficiently by maintaining a balance between holding the minimum level of liquidity necessary to meet its short-term obligations and investing surplus cash in profitable financial investments.
