Abstract

This thesis addresses sustainable tourism with a specific focus on its application in Algeria, particularly in the wilaya of Sétif. After a general overview of tourism and sustainable development, the study analyses the challenges of sustainable tourism and its impact on the environment and local economy. The focus is on the tourism potential of the Megress Mountain, a natural site conducive to the development of mountain tourism. The main goal of this work is to create sustainable equipment that includes the principles of eco-construction, the use of renewable energy and the valorization of local resources. In order to combine the tourist attraction with the protection of the natural heritage, offering an infrastructure that respects the environment and adapted to the needs of visitors. This thesis therefore highlights the need for sustainable planning to develop responsible local tourism
