Abstract
Community pharmacy staff found themselves on the front lines of the
fight against COVID-19
The objective of our study was to evaluate the anti-covid19 vaccinatio n
among the staff of community pharmacies in the city of Sétif.
This is a descriptive cross-sectional epidemiological study, carried out
among 150 emplo yees between January and May 2022.
The analysis of t he data co llected showed that our study population was
relatively young (70.1% aged between 20-40 years), predominantly
male ( 62. 3%) composed mainly of salespeople ( 53. 2%). More than half
of our sample ( 51%) was vaccinated, the most used vaccine was sinovac
(51 .6 %), the most recorded side effects were pain at the injection sit e,
fever (40. 3%) and aches (20. 8%). Cases of reinfection have been
recorded in 20% of the vaccinated population.
In order to better study the different aspects related to this vaccinat io n
developed in a very part icular context, other studies seem necessary
