Estimation des réserves géologiques en calcaires de la nouvelle extension de la carrière du Col de Beccouche, cimenterie de Sour El Ghouzlane, W. de Bouira

Abstract

This study aims the estimation of the geological reserves of limestone of the deposit of the new extension of Col de Beccouche which feeds Sour El Ghozlane’s cement factory situated in the South of the city of Bouira. It is marly limestones of albien age that appear as a monoclinale layer. For this object, two digital methods which are the method of Trapeze and the method Simpson were used to calculate the geological reserves which are estimated more than 18 million tons. The method Simpson is justified as being the method of the most reliable estimation, because it takes into account better irregularities bound to the morphology and to the structure of the deposit
