Contrôle qualité des huiles essentielles produites en Algérie

Abstract

The objective of this study is to control the quality of essential oils produced in Algeria (eucalyptus globulus; mentha spicata; myrtus communis; rosmarinus officinalis). The results of the organoleptic, physico-chemical and chromatographic controls revealed a slight discrepancy in the standards referred to by the pharmcopy. Subsequently the chemical composition of the essential oils was identified by CG-Sm . The composition The latter revealed the presence of 9 compounds for rosmarinus officinalis whose eucalyptol is majority (51.27%), 9 compounds also for myrtus communis whose eucalyptol is Majority (69.14%) , 6 compounds for mentha spicata of which D-carvone is the majority (61.06) and 2 compounds for eucalyptus globulus of which eucalyptol is the majority (84.89%). Our results are consistent with those published in the literature where we met almost all the majority composes at different rates.
