Etude de la faisabilité géotechnique de l’implantation de la zone industrielle Ouled Saber, wilaya de Sétif

Abstract

The state of Sétif is an important economic center with three large industrial zones and twenty-two activity zones. The main objective of our work is the study of the geotechnical feasibility of the establishment of a new industrial zone in the town of Ouled Saber to the east of the state of Sétif. With an area of 700 hectares. Based on the geotechnical and petrographic study to characterize the properties of soils and rocks in the region. In addition, we are interested in the production of maps in a GIS environment, such as thematic maps (lithology, rainfall, tectonic accidents), and digital terrain model (DEM) for maps of altitudes and hydrographic networks, in order to estimate the feasibility of this land at the last stage.
