Abstract
In an area of 38 hectares, limestone deposit Si Messaoud (Jebel safia) is located 60 km west of the city of Annaba and 48 km south-east of Skikda county town. The series of Jebel Safia consists of sedimentary rocks from the Lower Lias until Tertiary. This region forms a general orientation complex anticlinal bulge North-West- South East.Structurally Jebel Safia Series are fractured following a steering system breaks South-West-North-.The statistical analysis of chemical and physical-mechanical data allowed distinguishing fourtypes of rocks: limestone, dolomitic limestones, dolomites and shales.

يقع منجم الحجر الجيري سي مسعود )جبل صافية(,بمساحة 83 هكتار, على بعد 06 كم غرب مدينة عنابة و 83 كم جنوب شرق مقر ولاية سكيكدة. سلسلة جبل صافية تتكون من الصخور الرسوبية منذ العصر الجوراسي السفلي إلى الحقب الثالث.
هذه السلسلة تشكل انتفاخ محدب معقد يتوجه عموما نحو الشمال الغربي و الجنوب الشرقي . هيكليا, سلسلة جبل صافية منكسرة وفقا لشبكة من الانكسارات المتوجهة نحو الجنوب الغربي و الشمال الشرقي و هي موازية لمحور الطية المحدبة
لكن في بعض الأحيان تكون عمودية على نفس المحور التحليل الإحصائي للبيانات الكيميائية و الفيزيائية الميكانيكية يسمح بتمييز أربع أنواع من الصخور: الحجر الجيري ,الحجر الجيري الدولوميتيي , الدولوميت و الحجر الصخري الصفائحي ) الشيست (.
