Abstract

This work addresses the issue of land dereliction in dense urban areas, using the case study of the former Hachemi farm. The existence of these vacant spaces disrupts the surrounding urban balance and negatively impacts adjacent public spaces. The challenge is to capitalize on their potential through an urban project that addresses these shortcomings and injects a new dynamic. Revitalizing public spaces within the residential fabric provides an opportunity to create meeting and exchange places, fostering social cohesion. Ultimately, reclaiming these land derelicts is a major concern for urban quality of life. Their valorization allows for the recreation of unifying living spaces, reinforcing social cohesion, while confirming the structuring role of Boulevard No. 01 as a central urban axis
