Abstract
Nanoparticles are, as their name suggests, tiny particles whose study covers a wide range of disciplines: physics,
chemistry, biology and medicine.
The usefulness of these nanoparticles, especially those of CuO copper oxide, lies in the inherent properties of their
size. On this scale new properties appear, which did not exist in the material in the solid state
At the same time, the emergence and continuous increase of bacterial resistance to many conventional antibiotics
is a real global public health problem
There is considerable interest in the bactericidal power of CuO copper oxide nanoparticles, particularly those
presented in our brief. Due to their low synthesis cost and the speed of their development by the sol-gel combustion
method. Indeed after chemical and structural characterization of the synthesized nanostructures. These have been
shown to work on different strains of bacteria.
Through our work, we want to introduce CuO copper oxide nanoparticles as potential successors of antibiotics.
This obviously after toxicological study.
