Abstract

This thesis explores the technology of substrate integrated waveguides, highlighting its potential for the development of microwave devices intended for modern communication systems. Throughout this manuscript, we studied the fundamental design principles, the challenges related to the excitation and powering of circuits, as well as the practical applications of devices such as couplers, filters, and beam splitters. By using HFSS software to model and simulate our designs, we validated the effectiveness of our approaches and proposed new solutions to meet the demands for miniaturization and integration
