The Fe-Pb-Zn-Cu concentrations in the northern Sétif area are known and exploited artisanally since the Roman period.. The exploitation of these polymetallic gites by French companies was focused on the contact zones between the Djemila sedimentary nappe of and the limestone mountains of Djebel Hellel. The purpose of our study is to determine the relation of hosts rocks and the mineralization, its genesis, and its spatial location relative to other mineral concentrations inthe region. The methodology was based on the following approach: bibliographic research, mapping and geological sampling, confection of thin glasses and polished sections, followedby analysis and interpretation of different observations and results, and in the final by conclusions And recommendations. According to the gitlogical and metallogenic study: the presence of typical minerals and metals (Hematite, Pyrite, Marcasite, Sphalerite and Arsenic), the nature of the hosts rocks(calcaires dolomitiques), converge to wards a typical hydrothermal environment and mineralization.
