Abstract
This work presents the vector control of a permanent magnet synchronous motor supplied by a converter consisting of a PWM rectifier and a voltage inverter. Firstly, the PWM rectifier is controlled by the DPC technique in order to improve the power factor and reduce the THD. The DPC control is less robust to parametric variations. To remedy this problem, we opted to replace the PI regulators and those with hysteresis by more robust neural regulators. In the second part, to improve the performance of the vector control applied to the synchronous machine, we looked at the impact parametric variations on the performance of our control. With this in mind, an optimization by genetic algorithm was made. Finally, the fuzzy logic control was introduced in order to have a robust, efficient and reliable control.
