Etude de corrélation entre les marqueurs biochimiques de l’hépatite et le taux sérique en xanthine oxydase et en anticorps anti-xanthine oxydase

Abstract

En the hepatitis B process and to confirm the infection a number of serological tests have been used either to detect viral antigens or the antibodies rose against the virus. Transaminases are routinely determined to assess liver damage. In this small preliminary study, we tried to set-up to types of ELISA (direct and sandwich) to assess serum levels of human xanthine oxidoreductase (hXOR) as well as anti-bodies raised against the enzyme (anti-XOR antibodies) of twenty three patients with hepatitis. The used human milk enzyme was pure as it had a PFR 4, 81 and with a single major band of 150 KDa on SDS-PAGE. The oxidase activity of the purified human enzyme was 0.044 µmol/min/mg. Sera levels of hXOR (79,83 ± 67,52 ng /ml) and anti-hXOR antibodies (83,69 ± 67,52 µg /ml) were significantly higher than healthy normal subjects (5.11 ± 3.23 ng /ml and 26,52 ± 16,322 µg/ml respectively). We did not find a good correlation between levels of hXOR and anti-hXOR antibodies in one hand and transaminases (ALAT and ASAT) and alkaline phosphatase in the other hand.
