Abstract
Three criteria are necessary to determine the real behavior of a material: the choice of an appropriate mechanical test, the choice of a behavior law which could define the stress-strain relationship and the optimization strategy. In this study, the main objective is to optimize by inverse analysis the mechanical behavior of molybdenum coatings produced by arc-wire of the AECSPRAY type. The methodology proposed to identify the behavior law is based on the combination between the experimental tests, finite element and multi-objective optimization. The tests proposed for the evaluation of the mechanical properties are the instrumented indentation test.
