Etude de comportement à l’impact et à l’indentation des structures en panneaux sandwich à âme en mousse

Abstract

This work presents a study of the mechanical behavior under compression and impact. The objective of this study is to identify the parameters that have an influence on the behavior under compression and impact at low speed. The compression behavior of sandwich panels was characterized by compression tests carried out with variations in loading speed and thickness of the polyurethane foam core. In addition, impact tests with various geometric shapes of impactors were carried out in order to study the influence of the shape of the impactor on the impact resistance of the sandwich panel. The resulting damage modes are complex: skin indentation, core shear, etc.
