Abstract

Landslides are very common hazard in Northern Algeria with a concentration of major structural infrastructure. It is the gravitational hazards that are most identified in Algeria, which affect many wilayas. The village of Kherrata, Daira of Kherrata, Wilaya of “Bejaia is a case where a landslide has been noted. The origin of the characterization of different methods of study supports in favor of a low landslide. The origin of the triggering of the latter is the result of a combination of adverse factors of predisposition and triggering factors. The instability is explained primarily by the geological heritage, secondly geography and nature of the soil and two other factors that contribute to instability, water and men.
