| dc.description.abstract | In our work, we studied the structural, magnetic and magneto-optical properties of ultra-thin film Iron epitaxy on the substrate of seven atom plans of Silver Fen/Ag (001) with n = 1, 2, 3, which is likely to be used in the technological applications in particular in the field of storage and recording media. Calculations were made by method SPR-LMTO-ASA within the framework of approximation LSDA with the combined corrections and the parametrization of potential of exchange-correlation of Von-Barth Hedin, the term of exchange-correlation is introduced directly into the Hamiltonian of Dirac function of such fate to take account of spin-orbit coupling, where calculations are self-consistents. The elements of the optical tensor of conductivity are calculated within the framework of formalize linear answer of Kubo-Greenwood. We found that the Iron film crystallizes in the structure bct (Body Centered Tetragonal) with a rate of tetragonality c/a = 1.14. This structure supports an axis of easy magnetization according to the direction of deposit of Iron film, and it leads to a ferromagnetic coupling between the plans of iron on the surface. The magnetic moment of Iron film on the surface thus has a value of 3.13 μB an increase of ~30% compared to the value of the massive Iron which is equal to 2.2 μB, this result is in concord with other work. The magneto-optical answer was characterized by a negative peak to an angle θk ≈ 0.5° in the field of radiations visible in the vicinity of E = 3 eV, with an appreciable attenuation of positive peaks. | |
