Abstract

This work aims to characterize and quantify the salinity of groundwater in the under watershed of Chott El Beida. In this context, our study is based on the following steps:  Identification of the sector and study its geology.  The etermination of existing formations and resistivities based on geophysics.,  Identification of the climate system based on climate data.  The hydrogeological study allowed us to identify the aquifers.  The sampling of the water points was collected in order to characterize the physicochemical state of waters. Generally, the results showed that groundwater in the study area characterized by a high salinity which is probably due to the high evaporation.
