Apport des techniques de télédétection et des SIGs à l’étude hydrologique et hydrogéologique d’un bassin versant, cas du bassin versant de la Soummam

Abstract

Our study consists of the use of geographic information system (GIS) and remote sensing techniques in the hydrological and hydrogeological study of a watershed. The Soummam watershed was chosen as an example of application. The methodology of our work is to represent the different types of data collected, in the form of thematic maps using GIS. Geometric and morphological parameters were extracted using digital terrain models. The elements of the surface and the land cover have been mapped from the Landsat images. A land cover and land use map was made by the superposition of the different thematic maps.
