Etude hydrogéochimique de la plaine de Hammam Sokhna Nord-Est algérien

Abstract

The objective of this work is to study the hydrogeochemical study of the groundwater Hammam plain, to show the influence of salinity on the Groundwater of the region, this very high salinity is probably due to a circulation of water in a fault ystem affecting carbonate formations in connection with terrigenous salt formations.The analysis of the variation of T ° of the waters indicates that it is mesothermal, and shows a diminution which can be linked to the existence of a mixture etween the deep and superficial waters. A series of hysicochemical analyzes of the collected water, show a hydrochemical facies sodium chlorides facies as well as sodium sulphate facies and sodium bicarbonate. The waters closest to the chott and sebkha give bad water for irrigation and A.E.P.
