Gitologie du l’indice de Tifilkout associé au socle kabyle de Grande Kabylie

Abstract

The Tifilkout index is part of the mineralization associated with the Kabyle basement in Great Kabylia, no gitological study was conducted on this site, Tifilkout located in the southern part of the slate satin. The study area presented by satin schists, in places crystalline limestone banks hosted in the latter, a dolomitic plate was encountered in one place within these formations. The mineralization of the antimony collected in the dolomites, represents by a vein in a normal fault, its direction is NE-SO, the stibine is in anastomosed form with bulging and tightening, filling of the venules, spotted and disseminated. Macroscopic and microscopic analysis of the mineralization revealed the presence of stibine, senarmontite, stibiconite, pyrite, hematite, gray copper, blende, galena and graphite.
