Urban Polarization and Landscaping. Case Study: Gaoua Neighborhood- Setif

Abstract

This project, with a focus on landscaping, attempts to generate a set of ideas and approaches to solving the difficulties that Gaoua neighborhood faces in the city of Setif. This reflection combines the city with nature while maintaining within the scope of sustainable development, which emphasizes the importance of public spaces and favors moderate intervention, and perceive the greenery as an essential component alongside gardens and pedestrian precincts. The design is supported by real-life examples and careful scientific research of all terms and concepts, resulting in the desired polarization goal
