Contribution à l’étude de la minéralisation polymétallique du gisement de Dj. Gustar (Wilaya de Sétif –Est Algérien)

Abstract

The Djebel Gustar deposit belongs to the commune of Ain Lahdjer, Wilaya of Sétif in northeastern Algeria, and constitutes the southern eastern part of Jebel Youssef. This large massif is the most important building of the intermediate links. Structurally oriented East - West, they form the South Setifian allochthonous ensemble. The Jebel Gustar is an anticlinal structure elongated East – West and characterized by the action of intense tectonics and erosion. Flush land belongs to the upper Jurassic dolomitic and limestone. Neocomian formations with albiennes constitute the northern and southern flanks of the structure. The mineralization of the Jebel Gustar deposit is mainly lead-zinciferous. It is represented by sphalerite and galena and pyrite.
