Contribution à l’étude hydrogéologique de la plaine d’El Khroub (Secteur Nord-ouest)

Abstract

The alluvial plain of el khroub is situated about 16 km in the south of Constantine city. The geomorphology of the region is characterized by different levels of Uaternary terrace. The geological study shows that the studied area is the site of an ancient Topography whosedepressionsis covered by recent alluviumand. By the hydroclimatological study we can conclude that our plain is characterized By a subhumid climate with a cold winter and a hot summer. The average annual rain fall is calculated in the station of Constantine (494.56mm). The hydrogeological study shoes that the quaternary filling is our main aquifer.
