Conception et fabrication d’un dispositif pour la déformation plastique sévère par la technique ECAP

Abstract

Equal channel angular pressing (ECAP) is one of the known severe plastic deformation (SPD) metal forming techniques, in which ultra-high plastic stress is imposed on a material to produce ultrafine grain (UFG) and Nanocrystalline (NC) metals, alloys, composites and polymers. This processing technique is effective in producing materials with improved mechanical properties without dimensional change. The aim of this work is to study, design and realize an ECAP system including a die and a plunger.
