Calcul du spectre du gain optique des lasers à puits quantiques

Abstract

This aims f this work is to calculate the optical gain spectrum of quantum well lasers emitting between 1.3 and 1.6µm. it consists of two parts. The first part provides an overview of quantum well lasers. The second part is devoted to studying of the effect of the concentration, the operating temperature, the quantum well width and the doping level on the physical characteristics as well as the optical gain spectrum of the laser.It has been shown that these parameters play a crucial role in the performance of the laser. The maximum gain as a function of the doping level is also considered.
