Contribution à la quantification de l’irradiation solaire globale en Algérie et applications aux générateurs photovoltaïques

Abstract

The aim of this work is to develop different models to assess the monthly global solar radiation for different Algerian locations. These are Algiers, Ain Bessem, Constantine Oran, Djelfa, Mascara, and Tamanrasset. The measured global solar radiation and sunshine duration for a period of six years (2000-2005) of the different locations are considered. The considered models are based on the Angstrom type equation and logarithmic and exponential correlations. The obtained results using these models are in good agreement with the measurements. The best statistical analysis of the results using the MBE, MAE and RMSE are (-0.010%), (1.312%) and (1.640%), respectively. Using the RETScreen code, an estimative study of the generated power by a photovoltaic generator has been made for different locations. The best results are obtained for Tamanrasset with a generated energy of 3581 kWh.
