Abstract

Antiphospholipid syndrome (APLS) is an autoimmune disease characterized clinically by thrombotic , or obstetric events and immunologically by the presence of autoantibodies promoting thrombosis . The biological diagnosis of SAPL is centered on three parameters which are the search for lupus anticoagulants , anticardiolipin antibodies and anti - β2 - glycoprotein I antibodies of IgG or IgM isotypes. Although classification criteria for SAPL have been formulated , the latter can cause a range of clinical manifestations , hence the need to study its clinical - biological epidemiological and therapeutic profile, and epidemiological main objective of our work . All of our results obtained from our study and from the clinical case show out of 19 patients diagnosed as APS-positive between 2023 and 2025 , carrying at least one antiphospholipid antibody : LA , aCL or aβ2GP I . Our patients were predominantly female ( and aged between 19 and 47 years. More than a third of our patients had no history of previous diagnosis, thromboembolic and autoimmune manifestations were the main clinical manifestations prompting the search for ACC . Obstetric forms also accounted for 16,32 %. Laboratory assessment was incomplete in a large majority of patients , primarily based on a combination of TCK or anticardiolipin antibodies and anti-β2-glycoproteinI antibodies. For screening and completed by the calculation of the index and confirmed. We have attested to the inconsistencies of results between the different tests explained by the differences in sensitivity to LA between th e tests. We noted inconsistencies in results between the different tests , explained by differences in sensitivity to LA between the tests .
