Etude de la qualité des eaux dans la plaine de Bouchegouf (wilaya de Guelma

Abstract

The water pollution is a concept, which is in constant evolution. It constitutes today a true threat for the environment and well on the health of the man.Because of its good hydro-climatic characteristics and especially of its geographical situation, the plain of Bouchegouf is requested by two fields, which contribute to the deterioration of its water: agriculture and industry. The study carried out on the quality of subsoil waters and the Seybouse (region of Bouchegouf) wadi in the period 2014-2015 shows strong pollution in particular wadi and then of the tablecloths which evolves according to time and of space. The existence of strong concentrations primarily out of Lead and copper, in organic elements such as NO2, PO4 and in major elements of mineralization like Ca, Mg, SO 4 and especially Cl and Na, indicates a multiple origin of the pollution which seems to be industrial for the first, agricultural and urban for the seconds and natural by the action of geological scrubbings of the formation for the third.
