Traitement et interprétation géostatistique des données de prospection géochimique-sol du secteur d’Ain Kahla - région d’Ain Azel - Sétif

Abstract

The Ain Kahla deposit is located about ten kilometers west of Ain Azel , it is part of the Maghrebide Belt's External Outer Zone. The leado-zinciferous Ain Kahla mineralization is hosted mainly in the carbonate formations of the Upper Middle Lias and Dogger. The main minerals are galena, sphalerite, and barite. The accompanying elements: galena, pyrite, marcasite, antimonite, siderosis, glauconite and oxidative minerals are smithsonite, cerusite, hematite, iron hydroxides and manganese. Monovariable statistical processing made it possible to determine the anomalies in Pb and Zn. Monovariable anomaly maps have been established and these anomalies have been located. The cartography of the Pb and Zn krigées teners show that the study area, which is subdivided into three subsectors, is recommended for further exploration
