Répondre aux altérations dans le logement collectif Projet d’habitat urbain au péricentre sud-ouest du centre historique de SÉTIF

Abstract

Mass housing and the urban environment in Algeria and other countries of the world have raised a widespread phenomenon; those alterations that affect the physical framework of collective housing. The people have their own designs, by applying transformations inside and outside the dwelling (extensions or additions to the original forms ...) to meet their unmet needs and their lifestyles. The phenomenon proves, therefore, an effective mechanism to counter the mismatch between housing and user. In order to mitigate this phenomenon, a new approach to design collective housing in a way that offers users the ability to be actors of their private sphere and preserve the visual appearance of the buildings has been proposed in this modest work and designed on the basis of other approaches carried out worldwide. This approach is based on the design of a "flexible housing" carried by a structure composed of a rigid prefabricated carrier to limit the transformations in facades and a detachable filling using movable walls to provide the possibility to users several alternatives in the same unit. The chosen site is located southwest of pericentre historic center of Sétif and covers an area of 0.8338 acres. The project is to achieve social diversity according to an urban housing program following a density of 90logt / acres (number of housing 71 logts).
