Abstract

This study aimed to identify the reality of green knowledge management in Algerian industrial enterprises, relying on the descriptive approach using the questionnaire and personal interview as tools. The study included four productive economic enterprises in the Wilaya of Sétif, where an analyzable sample consisting of 40 respondents from executives and administrative staff was selected. Data were analyzed using the SPSS software, and the results showed that the enterprises under study apply green knowledge management to a very high degree based on the questionnaire results, while there was a discrepancy between the results of the questionnaire and the interview, as the latter revealed that the application of green knowledge was to a medium degree. The results also indicated a lack in training, in addition to the absence of a supportive green organizational culture. Finally, it can be said that the studied Algerian industrial enterprises are characterized by a significant level of green knowledge management application, but they need more efforts to enhance the aspects of deficiency in its green dimensions to ensure the integration of the green cognitive system and achieve sustainable development goals.
