Abstract
1-This academic year has resulted in a final dissertation and a final project included an educational process through an urban general analysis. For that one has used different approaches over the city of Setif as subject and overall purpose. This allowed us to unveil a general issue, or speaking sub problems. This for us to account for the complexity of the context of cities, particularly in the inner city of Setif, through a process that connects a cross-theoretical approach and practice, it has started a more detailed analysis of our object of study: sector west of downtown Setif (intramural).
Objectives :
2- It is requested to establish a methodology for analysis of our object of study and to identify a specific problem; a topic that will lead to a global reflection encompassing proposals, and a synthesizing of intervention axes, detailed programming as an alternative solution to this problem. This while enabling give future alternative urban sectoral dimensions of an urban project by promoting the memory of places and their stories.
Strategy :
3- My action plan will target the island of Harats the strong link in my area where I focus my Urban Revitalization strategy in an urban project approach. On a new way of: (1) thin better alignment of the urban dynamic of my colonial core of the city, and his crown (2) To revitalize and enhance the identity of industry marginalizes its status: artisanal Commercial in traditional fabrics, costume jewelry and its colonial heritage, (3) to revive HARATS Setif, a heritage bequeathed so expensive and specific, which marks the city of Setif. Today it is imperative to save these buildings typical of HARATS for a rapid transformation, radical center of our colonial city, which remains to this day not part of a conservation project.
* This is to convert the island of Harats in a commercial complex building ground floor is dedicating a fancy crafts and traditional fabrics in the form of (market) hierarchical organized with decor, a modern architectural touches marking the identity of the vocation of a unique place of its kind in Setif, extrovert and benefit interior space.
*At higher levels, it comes back in dwellings cells and common areas, the spirit of live clustered together with changes that respond to modern requirements (privacy, comfort ...).
* Overall recovery of urban guide Harats by appropriating originally occupied spaces, turning them into apartments and professional offices, the economic and social benefit of this exclusive neighborhood.
Conclusion :
4-My goal is to achieve better coordination of my urban project in the urban dynamics of Setif town center, and save a heritage that has shaped the city. This strategy of reconversion of the island of harates in a residential and commercial building (new houses and artisan shops), through an experience of introversion of operational and functional island, aims to be a first and new way to enhance this heritage. Simply to revive the city in a context of modernity.
