| dc.description.abstract | In this work, we review the breakthrough result established by V.Kh. Salikhov regarding the arithmetic properties of logarithms. Salikhov established a new, significantly improved upper bound for the irrationality measure of log3. By applying a modified integral construction based on Hata s method, Salikhov succeeded in reducing the previous bound μ(log3) ≤ 8.616 obtained by Rhin to μ(log3) ≤ 5.125 The proof relies on a detailed analysis of specific rational approximations and the structural decomposition properties of the associated integrand | |
