Abstract

The public space in the city center of Setif is the witness of the passage of several civilizations, supporting a very important heritage. This present work aims a multitude of intentions and objectives sometimes very connected to each other. These aims are general proposals for solutions to the individual problems, primarily the appreciation of the space that is part of the collective memory of the citizens where they will recreate their relationship with the public space that should be well thought out and not only the space between the building by promoting pedestrian links. The project is based essentially on creating a historic route that connects several public spaces and which tells the story of the city using repositories different times, Numidia, Byzantine, Roman .... While providing services to citizens and meet their expectations and needs.
