Gestion des effets secondaires et éducation thérapeutique des patients sous regorafenib

Abstract

Therapeutic education of patients should be an inseparable practice from medical and clinical activities, it is in this context that this work was carried out at the level of the CLCC the cancer control center in Sétif, in order to develop and implement a therapeutic education program for patients with metastatic colorectal cancer using regorafenib. This study was carried out over a period of 4 months, epidemiological, clinical and para-clinical data were collected by consulting the patients' medical records, then questionnaires were used as a means of investigation. An educational session was organized based on the data collected as well as the needs expressed by the patients, the latter benefited from the information sheets and direct discussions with the therapeutic educators equipped with a projection in PowerPoint form. After the educational workshops, a remarkable improvement in knowledge and skills was noted. Therefore, the involvement of the pharmacist as well as other health professionals in this approach constitutes a real perspective for a better management of cancer patients. الملخ
