Revitalisation de la ville Ain Oulmène par un projet paysager Projet Parc urbain et jardins publics

Abstract

The urban growth of Algerian cities has generated social and spatial dysfunction, and the urban policies applied from the seventies and nineties onwards have accentuated the gap between the projected city and the lived city. Ain Oulmène seems to be experiencing this discrepancy, as do all Algerian cities. Indeed, the extensions towards the North-West, East and South-East by housing and standardised areas have generated enormous pressure on the city in terms of mobility, activities, services and facilities. The urban space is the major place for the different encounters between people, it is because of this that the city needs the urban space as an essential element in its proper functioning as well as the public equipment to structure it socially and spatially and at the same time to satisfy needs Ain Oulmène is facing development challenges related to commercial and industrial activities, despite the presence of essential factors for its urban and economic evelopment. The city is struggling to confirm its position in the territorial chessboard of the willaya of Setif, it is called upon to develop its attractiveness, and to become aware of its potential territories of latent attractiveness, in this case the extensions of cities. This thesis suggests a set of actions, and it is the thematic diagnosis of the city of Ain Ourmène, as a method of investigation, that has made it possible to identify the issues facing this city. In order to relieve the city center and make our study area more attractive, we have proposed a landscaping project, as an Architecture project among a set of urban actions in the area, and which will allow the integration of this area into the original center by means of leisure, business and conviviality functions.
