Abstract

Statistics2 is a branch of statistics concerned with the study of random phenomena and the precise scientific analysis of data. It combines theoretical and applied aspects in the study of various statistical problems. It includes several key areas, among them probability, which examines the concept of random events and the rules for calculating probability, in addition to well-known probability laws, particularly those related to discrete and continuous random variables, such as Bernoulli's law, binomial law, Poisson's law, and the natural law. It also includes statistical approximations, which focuses on approximating certain probability laws to other laws to simplify statistical calculations, such as approximating the binomial law to the natural law or Poisson's law to the natural law. Therefore, Statistics II contributes to developing analytical and deductive reasoning skills and enabling informed decision-making based on accurate statistical data.
