Abstract

Anticancer therapies, while essential in the management of malignant tumors, are frequently associated with cutaneous side effects that significantly impact patients' quality of life. These dermatological manifestations, which can sometimes be severe, may compromise treatment adherence, delay therapeutic protocols, and cause considerable psychological distress. This study highlights the most common skin-related adverse effects such as hand-foot syndrome, alopecia, fissures, xerosis, and various types of skin rashes, observed across different cancer treatment regimens. It also emphasizes the importance of early recognition of these effects, along with appropriate prevention strategies and tailored treatments. Through this work, special attention is given to the critical role of dermatologic care in the therapeutic journey of cancer patients, aiming for a more integrated, humane, and patient-centered approach to oncology.
