Eriger un hub technologique pour la recherche et développement au sein de la zone industrielle de Sétif

Abstract

Setif, a city with a strong industrial activity, faces a disconnection between academic and productive sectors, which hinders local innovation—an issue worsened by the Law 1275 (a diploma / a startup). To address such a situation, the study suggests an urban stitching strategy to strengthen university-industry synergies. The proposed project focuses on the adaptive reuse of the abandoned ENTR site into a technological hub for research and development. This new pole aims to establish a functional link between academia and industry, promoting innovative initiatives, integrating young graduates, and enhancing the image of Setif’s industrial zone.
