Réaménagement de l’espace public au niveau de la frange sud du centre-ville de Sétif Projet : Centre culturel

Abstract

Located in the heart of Sétif, the southern fringe of the city center suffers from functional imbalance, a lack of quality public spaces, and disconnection from its historical heritage. This thesis proposes a redevelopment project for this strategic area through the creation of a cultural center. The intervention aims to revitalize public spaces, reorganize mobility, enhance the Biskra Gate, and introduce contemporary architecture that respects the existing fabric. The project is part of an urban stitching approach, promoting functional diversity, pedestrianization, and citizen involvement.
