Abstract

The intermodality of transport modes and its implementation in the city of Sétif are crucial issues for improving urban mobility. The creation of a new intermodal station by converting the premises of Sétif's former "SNTV" station is envisaged to meet the growing transport demand of residents, while helping to modernise the city's transport infrastructure. This initiative would provide a valuable opportunity to promote better interconnection between the various modes of travel, such as public transport, private vehicles and soft modes such as cycling and walking. Thanks to this initiative, the town of Sétif can expect a significant improvement in the quality of life of its residents, as well as a reduction in the problems of traffic congestion and pollution. In short, this new project will facilitate better connectivity between the various urban areas of Sétif. To achieve this, we used a new construction system based on fibre-reinforced concrete (FRC).
