Abstract

"The architectural heritage in Algeria stands out for its richness and diversity. Preserving this heritage represents a major challenge today. One of the main objectives is to highlight the colonial heritage of the historic center of the city. In the context of this thesis, the work aims to propose a specific intervention for hotels dating back to the colonial period, with particular attention to the 'Nouzel Annakhil' hotel. This establishment has lost its distinctive identity and architecture due to neglect and advanced deterioration. Through an in-depth analysis of this hotel, the thesis strives to present solutions and strategies for its restoration and enhancement, in order to preserve and revitalize this important witness of heritage."
