Couture urbaine entre la cité Tlidjene et le faubourg de la gare, Sétif Projet : Centre culturel - Hôtel

Abstract

Setif, a dynamic city, experiences urban disparity between its well-connected districts and fragmented ones, such as between the Tlidjene district and the railway station suburb. This study suggests urban stitching solutions to revitalize these districts by strengthening their physical and functional connectivity, promoting residential and functional diversity, and also involving residents. The proposed project aims the docks reconversion, creating housing, businesses, cultural and sports facilities, redeveloping streets and designing attractive public spaces. It also includes the construction of a bridge to connect both sides of the area, thereby contributing to the urban harmony of Setif.
