Évaluation d’éducation thérapeutique des patients diabétiques a la maison du diabète de Sétif

Abstract

The increase in the prevalence of chronic diseases, including diabetes, is an important public health issue. Beyond the actions already carried out at the Diabetes Center (screening and monitoring of diabetic patients), all health professionals (general practitioners, internists, psychologists and nutritionists) are health educators and participate in supporting patients. A survey carried out at the Diabetes Center, in the Sétif region, in diabetic patients highlights the patients' lack of knowledge of their treatments and the monitoring of their pathology, their difficulties in managing their disease, their need ETP. The diabetes house, by its proximity to the patient, plays a role in improving patient compliance and quality of life. Its involvement in this educational process presupposes quality training, consistency of its intervention
