Abstract

The heritage represents the identity and the memory of a society, it shows the traces of human existence and their activities. The city center of Sétif is among the Algerian cities known for its valuable historical heritage ,such as: the Barral Square Park, the Byzantine wall, the Napoleon's gate, and Ain Fouara Square, in addition to the old colonial buildings (Harra)... Today, this type of heritage is facing deterioration and the danger of falling into ruin. In this work, we will try to establish an intervention plan and a program that will allow us to identify the alternatives and the necessary operations to preserve this heritage and enhance it.
