Abstract

Bragg mirrors play an important role in the field of optics. They are used to generate constructive interference in order to give maximum reflections close to 100% for the Bragg wavelengths, and outside the reflection zone the interference becomes destructive and the reflection drops to zero. These mirrors have been widely developed thanks to advances in the technology of thin layers by sputtering on one face of the substrate. We study to Bragg mirrors of schematic form (air/thin layer/sub). In this work, we simulated Bragg mirror models for multilayer stacking. Use of a mathematical model based on the reflection of electromagnetic waves for Bragg mirrors of schematic form (air/thin film/sub) makes it possible to analyze the spectra of reflectance and to know what are the optimal conditions in order to obtain a highly reflective mirror
